Skate the Cape is a shred festival, combining longboard skateboard competitions with live music concerts and camping at the beautiful Cape Henlopen State Park. Skateboard races and freestyle events during the day and live music at night. This event happens once every two years so don't miss it!

About the Event
Skate the Cape is a shred festival, combining longboard skateboard competitions with live music concerts and camping at the beautiful Cape Henlopen State Park in Lewes, DE. Skate the Cape started in 2012 primarily as a longboard event with various competitions. The event was held annually the first weekend of November up until 2017. Since 2017, the event was held biennial(once every 2 years) and has grown the music side of the event to include a full lineup of artist.
This year you can look foward to 2 nights of live music and 2 days of skateboard competitions. We are inviting back some of our favorite artist from past Skate the Cape events and bringing in some new ones. New skateboard events include Game of Skate, Longboard Dance competition, SUP Roller Baloo and SUP Sprint Race. We are excited to offer beginner, intermediate and expert divisions for our most popular events, the Slide Jam and Downhill Race to encourage all skill levels to participate.
You can expect good vibes and epic moments all weekend long in a beautiful beach setting. This event happens once eveny two years so don't miss it this year!

If you're not camping with us at the CHSP Group Campground and you want to come enjoy the live music then this is the pass for you. -Music pass gives you access to the CHSP Campground Common Area where the Pavillion Main Stage is located -Music is scheduled for Friday 7-10pm and Saturday 5pm-10pm. -Park at the Herring Point parking lot (not at the campground).
